Entrance: 2080 Kawana Terrace, Santa Rosa

There are two entrances; meet at the one near Costco and NOT the one on Petaluma Hill Road. You need a regional county parks pass to park or pay for day use, however if you don’t mind walking a tiny bit I see people park at the bottom of the hill before you turn right into the paid parking area. You can also rent a parking pass from the library.

This hike is not necessarily stroller friendly. (Might be able to get away with it with a jogging stroller.) Bring kids that can walk and/or wear baby in carrier.

Bring a bucket to collect nature treasures and snacks/water. Wear sunscreen and etc.

May cancel due to rain/too wet conditions.
