  • 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Environmental Discovery Center, Spring Lake Regional Park, 393 Violetti Road Santa Rosa, CA 95409

Registration is closed
The EDC opens at 12p with tables outside if your family wants to picnic lunch first.  We will be inside around 12:30p to check out the exhibits.  Special activities start at 1p.

  • Learn about Sonoma County's ecosystems through exhibits that invite them to touch, climb, crawl, and imagine
  • Explore a tide pool with live sea creatures, see live turtles, snakes and fish, and get up close to taxidermy wildlife like mountain lions and coyote
  • Conduct earth science experiments and learn to look at surroundings in new ways

Embrace your inner scientist and discover the wonders of environmental and physical science! Drop-in for these free presentations and interactive experiments the first Saturday of every month beginning on the hour at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.

This month is boats, buildings, and bridges….it’s a STEM bonanza! Exercise your brain and use your imagination to build, create, and problem solve your way through multiple activity stations. Each station will challenge you to complete different tasks using nothing but everyday household items and brain power.

All ages welcome. Free. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members.  Some street parking available outside the park entrance.  The EDC is easy walking distance from there.
